Posted on Dec 1, 2016 11:54:10 AM by Kontrol Team

Well, the holiday season is well and truly upon us. If you're like us, your personal credit cards are getting a major workout as you cross gift and other holiday purchases off your lists. For many consumers, the convenience of credit card payments at this time of the year is tempered by fears about the security of these payments, especially online. The massive security breach that affected shoppers at Target and other major retailers in December 2013 was a Grinch-y reminder that easy payment forms can also be easily compromised.

This time of year, even if you don't work in education, don't have school-age kids, and aren't going back to school yourself, you can start to feel a back-to-school-inspired craving for something new. Maybe it's not new pens or notebooks, or a new teacher, but for us the end of August inevitably signals a time to make a few changes before the arrival of Autumn and the hurtle toward the end of the year.

We don't know about you, but after the excesses of the holiday season, those gym membership promotions that are everywhere right now start looking really appealing.

Wouldn't it be great if instead of raising the price once you were in, your gym rewarded you for your commitment to physical fitness by paying YOU?
